French Roulette
Overview
French roulette is similar to European and American roulette in that players place bets on the number that a spinning ball will land on. There is a roulette wheel and a roulette table to represent the numbers on the wheel. The first distinctive feature that you will notice in French roulette, is in the design of the table. It has no significance to how the game is played, but all the numbers on the roulette table are red.
On the wheel, the numbers alternate between red and black and so players can still place red or black bets. Another feature is that the table is labeled in French. The roulette wheel consists of the numbers 1 to 36, plus a single 0.
A number of unique bets exist in French roulette that are not found in other variations of the game. These are in addition to the standard inside and outside bets that are common in most variations of roulette.

• Straight bet – this is a bet on an individual number and can include the 0.
• Split bet – this is a bet on two adjacent numbers.
• Street bet – this is a bet on three numbers that fall in a row.
• Corner bet – this is a bet on four numbers found in the corner of the table.
• Line bet – this is a bet on six numbers found in two adjacent rows.

Neighbor bets:
• Neighbor bets are bets on numbers that are adjacent on the roulette wheel. For example, a neighbor bet on 25 would include 25, the number to the left of 25 and the number to the right of 25, in other words, the numbers 2, 25, 17.
Call bets:
• Voisins du Zero (Neighbors of Zero) – this is a bet that includes the 17 numbers that surround the 0 on the roulette wheel.
• Tiers du Cylindre (Third of the Wheel) – this is a bet on the 12 numbers on the opposite side of the roulette wheel to the 0.
• Orphelins (Orphans) – this is a bet on the 8 numbers that are not included in either the Voisins or the Tiers bets.
• Finales en Plein – this is a bet on all the numbers that end with a specific digit e.g. Finales en Plein 2 is a bet on 2, 12, 22, 32.
• Finales a Cheval – this is a bet on all the numbers ending in either of two digits e.g. Finales a Cheval 3/4 is a bet on 3, 4, 13, 14, 23, 24, 33, 34.
There is a unique rule known as La Partage in French roulette. La Partage states that if a player makes an even money bet and the ball lands on the 0, you will only lose half of your bet.
